Not really.

President Donald Trump decided to change the name by executive order on a personal whim, like a new emperor changing the name of a river or building to spite the old ruler. Everyone not an imperial minion—which includes Fox News and unfortunate federal employees—saw it a posturing gesture and ignored it as best they could. Ultimately, the gesture made Trump and the United States look ridiculous and added to the world-wide impression that he is suffering from dementia. It will all go away when he is no longer in power.
