been saying it on twitter but i think base needs to pivot hard here. the creator coin stuff is fine but clearly they've lost the battle to Solana for now.

release $base onchain via homegrown $clanker in a presale, work out a deal so clanker gets smaller fees or for a limited time, or forever, fuck it. that would ensure the Farcaster protocol, the thing TBA runs on, gets funded forever. create a wealth event throughout the base builder ecosystem. create half a dozen clanker stars that rocket into the top 150 or so.

or you could do it on echo and it'd be just fine and corporate, negative aura. you did pay half a billy for it i guess. but there's real magic here doing it the other way and it would create so many new stars and so much more attention.
